Terms of use

These terms apply when you use Chirpy, a chat app run by Ryan (Htet Lin Zaw), under the name ponypigeon ("we"). By creating an account you agree to them.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old (or older, if your country requires it).
• Give a real email address and keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens with your account.
• Your username must not pretend to be another person, brand or Chirpy itself.

Acceptable use

Don't use Chirpy to:

• harass, threaten, bully or spread hate against anyone;
• send spam, scams, or unwanted advertising;
• share sexual content involving minors, or anything illegal where you or the recipient live;
• share other people's private information or images without their permission;
• send malware, or try to break, overload or get around the security of the service;
• impersonate others.

You can block people and report them in the app.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you send. You give us permission to store, process and deliver it to the people you send it to, only to run Chirpy. Photos and videos are only kept on our servers for a limited time (see the privacy policy); keep your own copies.

Reporting content and copyright

Report a person or messages with Report in the app. If something you own (for example a photo or song) was shared without your permission, or you want to report illegal content, email support@ponypigeon.com with what it is and where it was shared. We act on valid notices and may remove the content or the account.

Moderation

We may suspend accounts, temporarily or permanently, that break these terms, usually after a report. Suspended accounts can't sign in, and their messages are hidden from others. Our admins can't read your messages except ones a user attached to a report.

The service

Chirpy is free and provided "as is". We work to keep it running and secure but can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we may change or stop features. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses or for content sent by other users.

Only install Chirpy from this website (and later Google Play). Copies from elsewhere may be modified.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may close accounts that break these terms.
